The Beating Heart

100,000 white balloons have filled the Covent Garden market building this week. French artist, Charles Petillon, has grouped the balloons in a natural rhythm to represent the beating heart of London's West End. This installation is Petillon's first public piece after having arranged balloons in a home, playground, and car. The video below shows how the beautiful arrangement comes to life with pulsating lights and captures the minds of the people using the space.
