Dee Marksberry and her team's vision was creating a clean traditional residence with a modern feeling of comfort and luxury.
Every detail is considered. This project is one of the firm's most lavish works of art. She has incorporated elements from several centuries and countries,
including France, Italy and Spain-- French limestone walls, tailored upholstery covered in silk velvet, hand carved walnut fireplaces,
and antiques discovered in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, thus transforming its conventional South Florida architecture into
something that is timeless. "There is something interesting to discover in every corner-- it's the attention to detail that makes all the difference."
This estate is a 2009 Aurora Award winner for Interior Design and Architecture. It was also featured in Florida Architecture, December 2009.
